♥ Eco Lovely Wooden Toothbrush
This wooden toothbrush from Waldkraft was made in the Black Forest, Germany. They obtain the energy required for their company from pure hydropower.
The toothbrush is 96% handle and 4% bristles:
- The handle is made of 100% waxed FSC beech wood.
- The bristles are based on castor oil. The oil that is extracted from the plant is processed into bio-nylon and is therefore BPA and petroleum free.
They are soft medium, but still gentle to sensitive gums.
This toothbrush is vegan.
Colour: green and white.
How to use wooden toothbrush: use it like a conventional toothbrush.
To protect the wooden handle from dark water stains, it can be rubbed dry after use.
Dentists and hygienists recommend replacing your toothbrush every 3 months & brushing 3 times/day with regular flossing for healthy teeth & gums.
No plastic waste: individual single cardboard package (100% recyclable packaging).
To dispose of your wooden toothbrush:
- Pull the bristles out with pliers (be patient and don’t pull them all at once... it will get easier once you started removing the first few knots) and dispose them in the non-biodegradable waste (landfill).
- Then simply dispose the wooden handle in the organic waste bin (it will break down within weeks – an industrial composter is much hotter and more active than any home composter) or in your garden compost (it will break down within 4-6 months - you can speed this up by breaking the toothbrush down into small pieces with a hammer or saw) and let it biodegrade naturally. Eco Lovely: from Earth, to Earth!
You can also reuse the handle as a plant name-tag, a cleaning tool for tiles, a vegetable scrubber, for those hard-to-reach corners, for bathtubs, or for air filters! It’s also a great tool to dust your computer keyboard!
